Player Terms
For people who play a bar's game on SportsPlay.

Draft for attorney review. These documents are a starting point written in plain language. Have a lawyer review them before relying on them, especially the prize and contest sections, which vary by state.
The short version
- It's free. You never pay to play or to win.
- One account per person. Be 21 or older where the bar requires it.
- Each bar runs its own game, sets its own prizes and rules, and hands out its own prizes.
- Play fair. Cheating or multiple accounts can get you removed.
1. Who runs what
SportsPlay is provided by SportsPlay Games. Each game is run by the bar or restaurant that offers it ("the bar"). The bar decides the games, rules and prizes and is responsible for delivering prizes. Your SportsPlay account works at every bar that uses SportsPlay.
2. Your account
Use your real email, keep sign-in codes private, and pick a leaderboard name that isn't offensive or pretending to be someone else. We may change names that break this rule.
3. Picks and results
Picks lock when a game starts. Results come from sports data providers; if a result is wrong, the bar or SportsPlay may correct it, and standings update. The bar's official rules decide ties and prizes.
4. Prizes
Prizes come from the bar, not from SportsPlay. Claim them as the bar's rules explain (usually in person with your prize code and a photo ID). Prizes can't be exchanged for cash unless the bar says so. You're responsible for any taxes.
5. Fair play
Don't use more than one account, automate picks, share accounts, or interfere with the game. The bar or SportsPlay may pause or remove accounts that do, and may withhold prizes won that way.
6. Your information and choices
See the Privacy Policy. Marketing emails and texts are optional and separate; you can stop them anytime. You can change your name or email in the game's Me tab, or ask us to delete your account at info@sportsplay.games.
7. Limits
SportsPlay is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for missed picks, data delays or service interruptions. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Void where prohibited.
